ICON is powered by an incredible team of volunteers who help create an unforgettable convention for our guests. Whether you enjoy teaching games, helping attendees, organizing the game library, or running adventures, we'd love to have you join the team.
Every volunteer receives a FREE convention badge after completing their first volunteer shift. Additional rewards are available for volunteers who sign up for extra hours.
Volunteer Opportunities
🎲 Game Teacher
Teach attendees how to play featured games at the Awesome Games Table.
- 5-hour volunteer shifts
- Help new players learn games
- Opportunity to play while teaching
- Perfect for experienced gamers
Available Sessions
- 10:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 3:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Available Thursday, Friday, and Saturday.
📝 Registration Volunteer
Welcome attendees, assist with check-in, answer questions, and help guests begin their convention experience.
📚 Game Librarian
Manage game check-outs and returns while helping attendees find games that fit their group.
🐉 Game Master
Run role-playing games and help create memorable adventures for convention attendees.
🎁 Volunteer Rewards
- Your first completed volunteer shift earns you a FREE convention badge.
- For every additional 5 hours volunteered, you'll earn additional admission passes.
- Volunteer passes are distributed after you've signed up for your scheduled shifts.
